Cargo Securing

For securing cargo we are looking at materials beyond strapping of packages or pallets. This means in particular securing cargo in containers, therefore, our product range is mainly directed at companies packaging for export, stevedore companies etc.  We do not offer the classic multiple-use packing belt for trucking, but will point you to strong suppliers of these items in cooperation with us, if you like.

When goods are packed for export in containers, the pallets themselves are first secured with strapping where either steel or plastic strapping is used. In order to prevent the packaged goods from slipping, non-slip mats are used. Since we cut these to fit, please inform us of your specific measurements and we will provide you promptly with our quote. With the LINGrip non-slip film you can also prevent individual layers from shifting on a pallet.

With so-called dunnage bags you can prevent packed goods from falling sideways. When opening container doors, container lashings prevent goods from falling out which works like a pre-installed net.

If you want to protect goods against theft and meet tight security requirements in light of terrorist threats, the container should be sealed with a container lead seal.

Especially in the case of flats, goods in transport are secured with wide lashing,- usually 40mm wide lashing having 5 t of linear tensile force. This requires special lashing tensioning devices which are suitable for this high load and which are capable of the required very high pre-tension force. The lashing is mounted using a socalled wire hook fixed to the transport medium,- this can be a fixture on a truck, a flat etc. For exampe, if a wood box needs to be lashed, usually double load buckles are used which allow for optimal system stability.
