Metal/Plastic Seals

Metal Seals / Closures / Sealing Sleeves for packaging steel strapping are available in many different versions. This is mainly because of the numerous strapping devices which are on the market. Almost every device requires its own metal seal/ closure/ sealing sleeve. Hence, it is necessary to indicate either the exact type of the needed accessory or alternatively  the exact device in use prior to the inquiry or order of a  metal seal/ closure/ sealing sleeve. Except in width, length and strength of the metal seal/ closure/ sealing sleeve, they also differ in the shape.

With metal seals for steel strapping the following basic shapes can be seen: Overlapped shape, A shape, U shape, C shape. The respective letter results from the resemblance to the shape of the metal seal.
In addition, there are so-called "round tension seals" or "hammer blow seals" which are closed by using a hammer as well as "magazine seals" where the next metal seal automatically "postslides" after every strapping cycle.

Concerning the rust protection plain seals are the simples version; in addition, seals also come galvanized as well as coated. Some shapes, like f.ex. the C shape, can be also ordered copper-plated.

With seals for plastic strapping the variety is clearly smaller: There are plastic buckles and metal-locking seals. The metal seals are available in the "standard" version or as a version especially designed to fit Orgapack-Single-handle-tensioners, so-called "serrated locking seals".
