Dispenser Carts for PP- and PET-Strap

Dispenser carts for plastic strapping vary for one with regard to the core receiver, for another with regard to the sturdiness of the cart. PET strapping is normally only available on a core of 406 mm; hence, the dispenser must be suitable to receive a 406mm core.

In addition, a roll of PET-strapping with approx. 25 kg is nearly 10 kg heavier than a roll of PP-strapping, a PET strapping dispenser must be built clearly more solid. Here the AWPET406 makes most sense. This model is so sturdy that it can also be used for packaging steel strapping in stack winding (which also has an 406 mm core).

PP strapping dispensers can be more lightweight and so also less costly, because a roll of PP strapping on a 406 mm core weighs only about 14 kg. Further core diameters are 200 and 280 mm. These two dimensions are originally intended for use with automatic strapping machines, however, some customers use manual strapping tools together with dispenser carts. In this case, we recommend dispenser carts which are modifyable, i.e. which can be modified by the user to fit different core diameters.
