Composite strapping is the highest quality available in polyester strapping. The reason is that the polyester filaments are additionally extrudited, i.e. coated with a plastic coating. This makes the strapping stiffer than woven and glued strapping and protects it in the best way against sharp-edged goods and against the weather odds.
Composite strapping sets include 2 rolls of composite strapping in addition to a dispenser, a box of metal clamps as well as a sturdy tensioning device. The tensile strength varies depending on the width of the strapping, i.e. it depends on the number of incorporated polyester filaments. One calculates the tensile strength in a cumulative manner, i.e. when you use a 16mm composite strapping having a 450kg linear tensile strength and apply the strapping twice, you have an actual tensile strength total of 900 kg.
