Steel Strapping

Strapping devices for steel strapping are available as pneumatic as well as manual devices. Further, we can differentiate two types of devices, depending on the supporting surface available:

• Steel strapping devices for round packs
• Steel strapping devices for flat packs

Round packs are defined when there is no or only a small supporting surface available. In this case, only steel strapping devices are used for this kind of packing, because there is no chance of using PET or PP strapping.

In contrast, flat packs offer a larger supporting surface (at least 16 cm). In that case, strapping devices for plastic strapping may be used as well as sealless steel strapping devices (where the two ends are grooved onto one another).

Also, it is possible to use a device for round packs to work flat packs; the other way around is not advisable.

The MUL-16, also called MK-4, is the one manual device with the best cost-effectiveness: it is a very sturdy device with a maximum degree of operator convenience. In addition, it can easily be adjusted to a different strap width.

Moreover, we also provide complete Starter-Sets which include all components to operate a pneumatic device (compressor, maintenance unit, hoses etc.). Pneumatic devices can work with seals and also without. Our in-house workshop ensures the maintenance as well as the spare-parts supply – fast and inexpensively. Of course, you can also send us devices from other manufacturers for repair works or maintenance service – if you send us your device and a short note, we will examine the device and give you a specified cost estimate. Then you can decide whether you would like to have the service done or whether you want us to return the device,- we reserve the right to ship at your expense.
